Certified (LPC)
The LPCertified is a certification that was designed
as advanced education for loss prevention management and
executives, such as; DLPM's, RLPM's, etc. and future DLPM's, who hope to further their career in the loss
prevention field.
The LPCertified was designed with input
from loss prevention professionals from over fifty of
today’s leading retail companies.

The LPCertified coursework is composed of six modules
with curriculum focused on:
Leadership Principles
Business Principles
LP Operations
Safety & Risk
Management
Supply
Chain Security
Crisis
Management
The coursework will be delivered online and
will include detailed reading as well as video demonstrations
of concepts covered in the reading. The coursework will be available in the spring/summer 2009.
In order
to earn your certification you must take and pass the LPCertified exam. While you are not required to take the LPCertified coursework to take the exam, it is the best study tool available to assist you in passing the LPCertified exam.
The LPCertified exam will be available in the summer of
2009. The exam will be composed of multiple choice questions
and will be offered on a regular basis and select locations
throughout the country. All exams will be offered in a
computer based format and will be proctored.

1 Year License- LPC
- Purchase of courseware is a license agreement
- Applicants can request license extensions and may be granted extensions if they fall into the following categories;
- Military deployment
- Medical/Accident
- Hardship situations
- LPF reserves the exclusive discretionary right to reject any request for extension.
- Job change will not be a situation qualifying for an extension
