LPQualified (LPQ)

The LPQualified is a certification that was designed to be a benchmark education for entry level loss prevention professionals, such as; Loss Prevention Managers, Supervisors, Store Managers, College Students, Select Hourly Employees or for those who are interested in entering the loss prevention profession. It is also an excellent refresher course for District LP Managers.

Both the LPQ & LPC qualify for academic credits from Eastern Kentucky University!

The coursework will be delivered online and will include detailed reading as well as video demonstrations of concepts covered in the reading.

In order to earn your certification you must take and pass the LPQualified exam. While you are not required to take the LPQualified coursework to take the exam, it is the best study tool available to assist you in passing the LPQualified exam.

The LPQualified exam is composed of 100 multiple choice questions and will be offered on a regular basis at select locations throughout the country. All exams will be offered in a computer based format and will be proctored. For more information on the LPQ exam please click here.

• Applicants can request license extensions and may be granted extensions if they fall into the following categories;

  • Hardship situations

  • Job change will not be a situation qualifying for an extension
